Steve graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Michigan State University in 2003. At that time he moved to Charlotte for a position at a local bank.   Immediately Steve fell in love with the rapid growth and urban focus of this city.

Wanting in on the activity, Steve obtained his real estate license in 2006 and purchased his first investment property.  This first condo was inside the urban core of the city.  For the next 4 years, he worked at 2 of the top residential real estate brokerages in town.  There he specialized in selling and managing property in Charlotte’s popular urban neighborhoods.  As part of a select team of brokers, he sold 3 new condo/townhouse developments in the Southend area in 2010.

In 2011, Steve launched Focus Residential Group.
